Most of the footage was of the Charlottesville riots.  As in Weimar Germany, police stood idly and watched.

Au sens figuré, les deux veulent dire que le programme a été abandonné/condamné/démantelé. Au sens propre, board up c'est monter une planche sur une fenêtre ou une porte pour la condamner, roll up un terme militaire utilisé quand on démantèle un camp ou des installations.

Hello! Could someone please help me understand a sentence? It's not a very important one, but I don't know how to translate it: In Treadstone s01e09, after about 6minutes  and a half, Sam says "when they boarded the program up , I told myself I'd give it a year..." What does she mean? When they finished or closed the programme, when they launched it, (when I left it) or something else? Please explain it or help me translate it in French! Thank you   Another one : "When the programme got rolled up" -> when it was working ??
