Any idea when English subs for the following:

1) A Place to Call Home (series 5). Australian. Episode 1 aired on 08 OCT.

2) Red Dwarf (series 12). British. Episode 1 aired on 12 OCT.

3) Babylon Berlin (series 1). German. Episode 1 aired on 12 OCT.

4) Britannia (series 1). British. Episode 1 aired on 16 OCT. I realize that it hasn't been the normal 3 days for a request but I was just wondering if subs were planned.

Thanks.

Hi, @zaphod13.

1) A Place to Call Home (series 5). Australian. Episode 1 aired on 08 OCT.

You'll find an answer here:

2) Red Dwarf (series 12). British. Episode 1 aired on 12 OCT.

The show is done by users, so it'll be done at their discretion. Most likely once WEB-DL videos show up, as they have embedded captions.

3) Babylon Berlin (series 1). German. Episode 1 aired on 12 OCT.

Sky Deutschland. That says it all. Very unlikely to see English subs soon unless someone makes a transcription from scratch.

But... Netflix acquired the rights, so there'll be English subs at some point. No premiere date yet afaik though.

Sky UK supposedly will broadcast it as well, but it doesn't seem like it's airing simultaneously with Germany.

4) Britannia (series 1). British. Episode 1 aired on 16 OCT.

Are you sure this aired? I can't find anything on that. Even Sky's website only have a promo.

Unless you're reffering to this?

But that's just a screening at some festival.

According to the trailer, the show is set to air in 2018.

Babylon Berlin is in German, so even if it a transcription was made, it would be in German and a translation would be necessary for people who don't speak/understand German.

  • 4 weeks later...

3) Babylon Berlin (series 1). German. Episode 1 aired on 12 OCT.

You will now find videos with English hardcoded subs, for ep 1 and 2, I guess the rest will keep coming.
