Pour info Fringe est dispo sur Amazon Video.
Je me régale de les revoir en HD, vu que la dernière fois c'était sur TF1 en SD et en VF...

Je viens d'enquiller sur Babylon 5.
La série est vraiment géniale malgré les années.
La 4/3 SD est un peu hardcore après Fringe en HD...

Fun fact : les effets spéciaux étaient fait sur Commodore Amiga.

Bonjour chez vous ! ;)

Hello there!

Sorry again for using English in the French forums!
So, we're experimenting with a feature that would auto-complete lines when people use the translate feature.

How does it work live?

You start a new translation. You click on a untranslated line. Instead of opening a blank text area, phrases will be auto-translated.

You do minor corrections or additions and save the line, then move to the next one.

Here's an example of it, in action (was testing a Romanian translation):

(notice how the line was untranslated. This is an example of a 100% accurate auto-complete translation)

What is this?

This is a feature to -hopefully- make the life easier of those that translate by auto filling known phrases

What this is not?

This does not auto translate and you will never be able to auto complete a subtitle sequence without reviewing it first. Quality > Quantity

How does this work behind the scenes?

This is the most important part. We are not relying on any 3rd party tools. This is not Google, Bing, Whatever translated. We are using sequences previously translated or known by our system to auto complete current lines. So, if in the past the system bumped into a Romanian translation of "Previously on The 100", it will auto fill that in the future. Makes sense?

Why not? Quality should beat any translation tool, since -we hope- in the past the sequence / phrase was properly translated. Reusing popular phrases should be, 99% of the time accurate.

Do you fancy this idea? :)

Changing the world. One subtitle at a time.

OUIII !! Un super-bon anniversaire à toi, cher Tay. J'y ai bien pensé hier mais j'étais pas sûre de la date et surtout l'effort à fournir pour écrire me paraissait - me paraît toujours - hors de portée. Pourtant je pense à toi si souvent qu'il va bien falloir que je m'y mette !
