The cc's for that show are pretty bad, needs a lot of work to make them as good as other subs are, so, you need to have some patience. doc. DeGodefroi Posted May 5, 2011 Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 Sadly, that is true. Discovery USA uses the live captioning method. Word by word, 3 lines that are scrolled. Doing that way on non live broadcasts is a lousy cheap ass trick by discovery to comply with the law but on the other hand saving money. I only accept live captioning for well...live events. But in this way they do not need to sync the captions. I tried ripping one and it is so bad that I am unable to sync and fix it due my deafness. So lets all send warm fuzzy energy to DrJackson and other excellent substitle makers and syncers :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DrJackson Posted May 5, 2011 Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 DrJackson has his own problems with Deadliest Catch 01 and 02 Mithbusters have another regular syncer, but, as you noticed, that is the "model" of cc with which he must work.
