HDTV
- Quality = Logo on bottom right, tv rating top left, sometimes popup ads on the bottom
- Size = 1.1GB
- Availability = About an hour after they air
- Source = HDTV Cable or Satalite stream, captured and encoded.

Web-DL
- Quality = No logo, ads, rating, etc.
- Size = 1.5GB
- Availability = 1 day to 1 week after the show is aired. Sometimes released in batches months after the show airs.
- Source = Actual footage encoded into a file and released on the web (usually itunes)

Bluray
- Quality = No logo, ads, rating, etc. Often have multiple audio tracks or multiple subtitle tracks
- Size - 2.2GB+
- Availability = A few days after the Bluray is available
- Source - Bluray disk

Lots of people just get an episode to watch and then delete it.
Or are too impatient to wait for better copies.
HDTV is good enough for those guys (and girls).

Collectors might prefer to wait another day for the WEB-DL version.
Sometimes I watch the HDTV version (impatient) but later replace it with the WEB-DL for permanent collecting (I may watch it all again in a couple of years).
