OFFENSIVE CONTENT
Posting offensive text, images or links, etc. will not be tolerated. This includes user pictures and signatures.
The systematic use of foul language, or the posting of material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist or otherwise discriminatory, is not permitted on these forums.
This is an open forum, where everyone is welcome, whatever the age, gender, race or creed.

FLAMING AND ABUSE
Abusive or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
Any material which is overtly discourteous, or constitutes defamation, harassment or abuse, is strictly prohibited.
ILLEGAL CONTENT
Providing, referring to or asking for information on how to illegally obtain or provide any material, including software ("warez") is forbidden.
Similarly, requesting or posting serials, CD keys, passwords or cracks is forbidden.
SPAM AND ADVERTISING
Advertising any commercial product or service, in posts or signatures, is not permitted.
POSTING - GENERAL
Please post in the correct forum. (Requests for subs in "Subtitles/Requests" section, etc.)
REQUESTING SUBS
Generally speaking, it is not necessary to request subs for episodes that Addic7ed is regularly providing for current TV shows;
Quality subtitles are usually available within a few hours at most - it's what Addic7ed does best.
In particular, do not request subs for shows or episodes that are less than three days old.
CROSS-POSTING AND BUMPING
Posting a thread in more than one forum is annoying and thus not allowed.
Bumping is also prohibited: all bumped threads will be deleted.
LANGUAGE
English is the accepted common language of Sub-Talk, and members are asked only to post in English.
Exceptions are made for the Translator Teams forums, where team members can discuss in their own language. These forums will be marked as such.

Becoming Karl Lagerfeld - 2024 - France Becoming Karl Lagerfeld - 2024 - 7/10 Mini-series on the iconic fashion designer, set mostly around the 1970’s. During his tenure as artistic director of Chloé. The industry aspect of this is compelling – if one is into this world (I married a fashionista, there is no escape). His previous relationship with Yves Saint Laurent, conflicts between haute couture and prêt-à-porter. Much of the series regards his relationship with Jacques de Bascher, French aristo and dilettante. Bascher suffers low self esteem, substance abuse, limited talent, pettiness. Nevertheless, for many, I imagine the relationship may be more riveting than fabric. Essential for those who know and wear brands. -

Scandal Eve - 2025 - Japan Scandal Eve - 2025 - 7/10 AKA - スキャンダルイブ Rafale is a small talent agency. So when their major star is exposed in a tabloid, it damages. An old incident, of him drinking / sleeping with an underage female. Readers were shocked! She was 19 (age of consent in Japan is 13, so please). Turns out there was collusion between a mega-agency and the scandal sheet. Brief J-dorama of the small upstart trying to survive opposition by the colossus. Well written, fiercely acted, some sharp turns. Problems for viewers may be the tabloid or print angle. In most of the world, those are passé. Readers, by and large, grow more extinct daily.
