Après Betty Boop, voici encore une idée casse-gueule d'adaptation en "live action" : Netflix a commencé la prod de la série Scooby-Doo: Origins. Le projet a été validé en 2025, mais le tournage vient seulement de commencer à Atlanta. Le concept est différent des films des années 2000 dont le succès a été plutôt commercial que critique (quel kitsch !) avec un chien en chair et en os apparemment. Le casting retenu : Maxwell Jenkins dans le rôle de Fred Jones, Tanner Hagen pour Norville “Shaggy” Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson pour Velma Dinkley, et Mckenna Grace dans le rôle de Daphne Blake. Le seul point commun avec Stranger Things (au sujet de l'histoire), c'est qu'on est dans un univers tout à fait réaliste (mais contemporain) dans lequel une touche de fantastique vient servir un peu de prétexte à bouleverser la routine de ses personnages. C'est pas nouveau (Cf Buffy) et je trouve que c'est justement tout le reste qui est vraiment intéressant. Et j'ai bien aimé The Leftovers aussi même s'il faut accepter le postulat initial qui ne sera pas expliqué 😜 Spider-noir est tentant et je crois que comme tu dis, elle va rejoindre mon stock "à voir" !
