English subtitles for french show Kaboul Kitchen

@Saga Noren, I'm afraid this will prove to be quite the challenge.

French series seldom provide English subtitles, even on DVD.

Those previous subs were made from scratch by the now defunct irc.otaku-irc.fr.

Good luck.

On this part of the forum (in addic7ed, in fact), people translate subtitles from other languages (mostly English, but sometime Swedish or Danish ;) ) to French, as they are native French speakers. As well as they may understand and translate English, translation from mother tongue into a target language is a whole different story, even more for spoken language.

Translation from French to English would be easier for English native speakers. The first step would be to have French subtitles available. Kaboul Kitchen's DVDs have French subtitles for hearing impaired, but they are not available on Addic7ed so far...

@taytoy Their site seems to be functioning (http://otaku-irc.fr/) .

@Cafeine Is there any way of finding the native English speakers with proficiency in French who might be willing to subtitle Kaboul Kitchen?
